樹德科技大學表演藝術系採單獨招生，報名表填寫以「網路填表」為原則，填寫後相關報考資料以通訊報名為主，以郵戳為憑；欲報考的考生須參加面試，面試術科考試分為音樂類、戲劇類及舞蹈類三大類別，考生請就此三大類別擇一作為主專長，另外再擇一項作為副專長參加考試，主副專長的類別不得重複。

Candidates who wish to register for the Department of Performing Arts of Shu-Te University must submit all relevant application materials online.  The candidate will then be notified when the DPA has received the submitted application materials.  Candidates must then apply to audition.  The audition is divided into three categories: music, drama, and dance.  Each candidate must choose to present one of the three categories as their primary area of expertise, and choose one other category as a secondary area.  The primary and secondary area of a candidate must not be the same category.
